Spend a delightful day exploring Vieille Ville, the Old Town. Meander down narrow streets lined with the medieval buildings of yesteryear. Tuesdays to Fridays there are colourful flower markets and fresh produce markets and on Mondays you may come hunting for antiques and bric-a-brac in the Cours Saleya. Cafes and restaurants abound and Vieux Nice is a popular nightspot as well. Take the elevator or climb the stairs to the Naval Museum and on up to The Chateau for a birds eye view of the Old Town, the bay and the port. The Chateau was an old castle where you can explore Roman ruins and see the waterfall in a lovely park where it is simply wonderful to relax.
